  • ALS :

    • Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis
    • Lou Gehrig’s Disease
    • A nervous system disease that weakens muscles and impacts physical function. It attacks the nerve cells responsible for controlling voluntary muscles.

  • Alzheimer’s Disease : 

    • A chronic & slowly progressive disease that impacts and destroys memory and other important mental functions. It will eventually cause disturbances in reasoning, planning, language, and perception.
    • Age & genetics play a huge role in increasing the likelihood of having Alzheimer’s

  • Anaplasma : 

    • A disease caused by the rickettsial bacteria Anaplasma Phagocytophilum transmitted from the bite of a infected black legged tick or deer tick.  The same ones that can transmit Lyme Disease.
    • Cases of anaplasma acquired though blood transfusions have also been documented.
    • Symptoms:
      • Fever

      • Muscle Aches
      • Nausea & Vomiting
      • Abdominal Pain

  • Anxiety :

    • A mental health disorder characterized by feeling of worry, fear, or anxiety that are strong enough to interfere with ones daily activities.
    • Anxiety is experienced by everyone at some point in their lifetime.  A disorder however, is different due to the fact it can cause such intense distress that it interferes with a persons ability to lead a normal life. The worry and fear become so constant and overwhelming to the point of crippling.

    • A form of facial paralysis causing sudden and usually temporary weakness in the muscles on one half of the face.

  • Borrelia : 

    • A genus of bacteria of the spirochete phylum.  It causes borreliosis, a zoonotic, vector borne disease transmitted primarily by ticks.  Very difficult to diagnose and detect because of it’s stealth like ability to hide & mimic other illnesses.
    • It seems to not appear to circulate throughout the bloodstream but yet borrows itself into tissue & organs such as the skin, heart, brain, & bladder.
    • When it has the opportunity to spread and become chronic it can cause long term problems usually disabling arthritic, neurological, cardiovascular and a wide range of strange symptoms.
